By using CO.CC, the long name of our blog can be shortened. So much easier to remember and of course look more cool than any frills blogspot or wordpress behind our name.
But often friends who already know the name of our old blog, will continue to access via the old address. Or the friend who put our link, will still lists their original address our blog. As a result, efforts to socialize in CO.CC domain threatened inhibited. And the opportunity to show with short domain too threatened, because they still access via the old address.
